Bioniq — $150M exit to Herbalife
Global wellness-tech brand. Over three years we generated 2B+ media impressions and built the founder’s profile through to a $150M exit.
Wellness tech is one of the fastest-growing and most competitive sectors today. We served as Bioniq’s PR partner from 2023 until its acquisition by global nutrition leader Herbalife in a $150 million deal in 2026, supporting the company’s communications strategy through every major stage of its growth journey.
Client
In 2023, Bioniq was a London-based wellness tech startup producing personalized supplements based on individual blood biomarker data. We supported the company throughout a period of rapid growth, securing coverage around its $15 million Series B funding round, product portfolio updates, the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo and Diogo Dalot to Bioniq’s investor board, as well as multiple brand partnerships and collaborations. During this period, Bioniq expanded into the UAE, which later became one of the company’s most important strategic markets.
Over the course of three years, we generated more than 2 billion cumulative media impressions across leading international media outlets through over 140 corporate news-driven placements and features. Coverage included press releases, industry reports, contributed articles, interviews, feature stories, expert commentary, and speaking opportunities.
Challenge
As MENA’s wellness market continued to expand, Bioniq faced increasing competition from a growing number of brands entering the space. Our challenge was to build awareness, establish trust in a new category of personalized health solutions, and position Bioniq as a leader both regionally and internationally.
Solution
We developed an ongoing positioning and media relations strategy for Bioniq, its products, and its founder. We crafted tailored story angles and pitches aligned with each journalist’s interests and editorial focus, helping secure coverage in top-tier outlets such as Forbes US, Business Insider US, and Fast Company Middle East.
Our 360-degree communications strategy combined corporate news, founder thought leadership, product storytelling, partnership announcements, and expert commentary. This approach helped establish Bioniq as a trusted voice in personalized health and wellness, and maintain consistent visibility across key international markets.
Results
We developed a long-term communications strategy for Bioniq, its products, and its founder, built around highly targeted media engagement and compelling storytelling.
By tailoring narratives to the interests and editorial priorities of individual journalists, we secured coverage in leading publications including Forbes US, Business Insider US, and Fast Company Middle East.
Our efforts helped position Bioniq as a trusted voice in personalized health and wellness while maintaining a strong presence across key international markets.

Since the company rebranding in 2023 and through to the acquisition deal in 2026, we’ve been working closely with Vlada every step of the way. During this time, her team supported all key stages of the business growth journey: investment rounds, product launches, international expansions, and strategic company announcements. Every month, we saw high-quality coverage in Tier-1 media, and at some point it stopped feeling like working with an external agency and became more like having a true in-house PR team. What we especially value is their ability to deeply understand both the business and tech narrative, while also being equally strong in lifestyle communications.
