Fortis — building FinTech authority across the GCC
A five-month PR campaign positioning Fortis as a trusted FinTech voice through executive thought leadership, original research, and coverage in leading GCC media.
To earn trust from banks, regulators, and merchants, Fortis needed steady and credible engagement. In just four months, PRHub helped Fortis appear in a range of top GCC outlets, including Gulf News, Khaleej Times, Arabian Business, TradingView, and Campaign Middle East.
Client
Fortis provides SmartPOS solutions for retail, F&B, and service businesses across the GCC. Its main audience includes C-level executives and decision-makers at banks, financial institutions, fintech investors, and financial regulators.
Challenge
Fortis had to build credibility with four groups at once: senior leaders at banks and financial institutions, fintech investors and industry groups, regulators shaping fintech policy, and retail and F&B businesses considering SmartPOS solutions.
Solution
PRHub started by laying the groundwork. In the first month, they worked on the basics, including a company Q&A, speaker profiles, and a targeted list of media and podcast contacts.
After that, coverage featured seasonal consumer insights, original research, executive op-eds, and a podcast interview. Each piece was aimed at the most relevant outlets, from top business publications to specialised retail and fintech media.
Results
After five months of steady PR activity, Fortis had a strong and varied media presence across the GCC. This also boosted its visibility in Google and AI search tools.
Five months of steady PR work (February to June 2026):
- 23 placements in over 18 outlets, such as Gulf News, Khaleej Times, Arabian Business, Trading View, and Campaign Middle East, reaching an estimated 285 million people
